Black Ore is building the leading AI platform for financial services. By combining LLMs, proprietary AI/ML and automation we accelerate core workflows for the industry, allow financial services professionals to be more productive and enable consumers to enhance their personal finance. Our flagship product, Tax Autopilot, combines AI with federal and state tax codes & regulations to simplify the tax preparation and review process for Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) and accounting firms.

The Role
You will be joining a group of talented, experienced engineers with successful track records building and scaling products / companies from idea to pre-IPO and beyond. As a member of the QA team, you will be working directly with the engineering and product team to ensure our AI and automation products meet the highest level of quality.
Basic Qualifications
- Willingness to work hard and drive objectives to completion autonomously
- Demonstrated experience in software development with a strong emphasis on testing and QA automation
- Experience in testing web, mobile, and API applications and services.
- Experience in designing and developing automated tests using frameworks, tools, and scripts
- Experience in testing non-functional aspects of software, such as performance, security, and reliability
- Experience in using version control, defect tracking, and test management tools, such as GitHub, Linear, Jira, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- QA Automation Engineering at a hyper-growth startup
